Poland does not seem a likely candidate for one of the least evangelized countries on the planet. Located in the heart of Europe, boasting magnificent cathedrals and more than a thousand years of Christian tradition - our country is often-overlooked as a mission field.

Yet, the numbers paint a different picture:

38,000,000 total population
40,000 Evangelicals make up 0,1% of the total population.
That's 1 Evangelical for every 1,000 Poles.
There are less 170 missionaries working in the country.
That's 4 missionaries for every 1,000,000 people.

As ProEcclesia we dream, pray, and work that we might witness a church planting movement resulting in a healthy, multiplying church in every major Polish town, thus putting the good news within reach of every Polish family.
